Lately, there have been a lot of health articles talking about the need for Americans to increase their intake of fruits and vegetables. These health articles claim that 70 percent of Americans are lacking the right amount of daily fruits and vegetables. In fact, some of these health articles claim that most of us get our serving of vegetables from the topping of a hamburger. Whenever you get a burger, most of them have lettuce, onions and tomatoes and it seems that we rely heavily on this mode of vegetable ingestion. Health statistics have shown that there is a negative correlation between ingestion of fruits and vegetables and disease in general. Fruits and vegetable are jammed packed full of antioxidants that help protect and rejuvenate human cells and without these antioxidants body cells will age at a rapid rate. However, as most of the health articles would say, it is very tough to get all our veggies and fruits on a hectic schedule. A great solution to this problem is powdered fruits and vegetables juices you can buy at any health food store. These powders are full of the antioxidants our body needs and as a plus can be ingested very easily. All one has to do is pour a scoop in some water or juice and that’s it. Lets start decreasing those bad health statistics one scoop at a time.
