When you encounter pet health problems, it's a good idea to search the forums and veterinary websites that might be able to answer your pet health questions without necessitating a trip to the vet. While most dogs don't mind a trip in the car or truck, we don't know too many who actually enjoy visiting the vet. We know of very few cats who like to ride in cars and taking them to the vet is akin to real live torture for them.
When you think you have pet health problems, checking online first might save you a trip to the vet and putting your pet through a stressful situation. Signs that your pet is not feeling well are usually lethargy, not drinking water, and little interest in eating. If you're dog shows those symptoms, you might need to take him or her to the vet. Cats, on the other hand, can be finicky eaters who decide capriciously when and what they want to eat. If they go more than two days without eating or drinking, that unfortunate trip to the vet might be in store for them. |
