World Health Organization May Green Light Swine Flu Vaccine |

The Swine virus certainly has the World Health Organization busy right now. The World Health Organization has a big role in recommending what needs to be done to stop this from becoming a pandemic. They are recommending that those people who feel ill avoid travel and stay at home but the World Health Organization does not think that shutting down borders or restricting travel internationally would do much to stop the spread of this disease.
The organization raised the health alert from a three to a four and it doesn't appear that this designation will affect travel anywhere. People who are concerned about contracting this virus have some options: they can stay home if they can, they can wear masks, and most important, they should wash their hands frequently. The virus is spread through contact and having clean hands will go a long way toward avoiding the flu. The World Health Organization is also responsible for giving the green light toward producing a vaccination for the flu, and as of this writing, they have not done that yet. |
