Pet Health Problems
As much as I don't like being sick myself, when my dog got sick last year, I felt so helpless. At least when I start to feel sick I can take some medicine to stop it before it gets too bad. But, with pet health problems you don't know until they're fully sick.
Last year my dog contracted some kind of virus. He didn't do anything but lay there, whining, and looking very sad. Pet health problems are different from our health problems in that you can't really do much for them. I looked through some health articles online for what to do with a sick dog and got a lot of the same information. Keep him comfortable and off the floor, make sure he drank lots of water, and talk to him and let him know he isn't alone were the most common tips. He was still drinking water so I didn't call a vet. After a few days, he started to get his energy back and look like he was coming out of it. After about a week he was back to his old self and full of energy.
